HBO nabbed the American rights for Roman Polanski: Wanted and Desired at Sundance earlier this week.  Marina Zenovich's documentary "looks at the 1977 case of Polanski having sex with a 13-year-old girl that ultimately sent him into exile in France", ComingSoon revealed.  The rights deal would allow for a theatrical release, but with the poor showing documentaries have had at the box office in recent years, it is likely it will just be added to the premium cable channel's schedule in the coming months.  I'm curious enough to watch this just to see how much more there could be to the story.  Or maybe I'll just watch Polanski's Pirates again.
