Variety has announced an April 29 start date for the filming of what looks to be yet another in the long line of friends-road-trip-somewhere-and-do-nasty movies: Maxim's Mardi Gras.

Screen Gems has tapped first-timer Phil Dornfeld to direct their ensemble comedy which includes Nicholas D'Agosto, Josh Gad, Regina Hall, Danneel Harris, Bret Harrison, Arielle Kebbel, Carmen Electra, and twins Becky and Jessica O'Donohue.

Filming in New Orleans, the film tells the tale of "three best friends who take off for Mardi Gras in search of a real party and find what they are looking for." Oh man, they ruined the ending right in the plot description.  Bad form.  Oh wait, it says 'Maxim' in the title so I guess all the good form will be on the various bead-craving beauties. This is a clear case of 'win' for my appreciation of boobs and 'lose' for my appreciation of film.
