Ashlee Simpson is releasing her new LP, Bittersweet World, in March, and Papa Joe has already tossed his youngest cashcow out on the stroll for a little pre-album release publicity. After witnessing how Disney star Ashley Tisdale successfully handled the media blitz in the wake of her recent nose augmentation, Ashlee and Joe have decided to shop the story of her plastic surgery to snitch mags. Only one problem; at this point, no one really cares.

“She just should have come clean about it at the beginning, when she was an interesting story. No one cares now — everyone knew Ashlee did it, it was obvious she had a new nose — but she thought being coy would pay off. That is until Ashley (Tisdale) proved that it’s OK to talk about it.”
