Things seem to be heating up between Kate Hudson and Dax Shepard.

According to Us Weekly, she’s already taken him home to meet the family and they recently went on a romantic vacation together.

Kate and Dax flew into Canada via a private jet where they met up with her family in Muskoka where Kurt Russell and mom Goldie Hawn own a home.

According to a source, “Dax fit right in. One day, all the guys took a boat to an outdoor market and ate hot dogs. Dax and Kurt were laughing like they had known each other for years.”

Dax and Kate got close when he appeared in a short film she directed for Glamour magazine.

After being married to Chris Robinson, she now has apparently decided she prefers funny guys, dating Owen Wilson and now Dax.

A source adds, “Everyone thinks it’s a strange choice for her. Dax is wild and weird. He makes her laugh.”
