Car Buying, TrendsFord F-150

The Detroit News does an amazing job of quickly summing up this year’s winners and losers in the new car market. Andthey don’t use some crusty panel of auto journalists to figure out the champs, they simply point to car sales. Who cameout on top? Ford’s new F-150 and its 400,000+ sales won handedly, the Chrysler 300 as you may have guessed, The ToyotaPrius, Mazda’s hip 3 sedan and hatch and the Chevy Equinox small SUV is also selling well. The biggest losers are thePontiac GTO, selling only3,687 vehicles this year and the VW Phaeton with a meager 849, yes three digitsales.
