Coupes
It seems like you can’t swing a dead cat without hitting a Scion tC review these days. Respected testing outfit Carand Driver got their mitts on one and have given it a good, hard look. In case you missed the billboard advertisingcampaign, here’s what you need to know: front-wheel-drive, three-door coupe, 160-hp, 0-60 in 7.4 (althoughC&D has no mercy on clutches, so this number seems optimistic), myriad “custom” options, priced around $17K.The review is for the most part quite favorable, with the emphasis being that one gets a lot of car for a little money. The counterpoints are also worth a gander, however, as they show less enthused testers being totally blunt. And what’swith the crappy photos, C&D? I refuse to reproduce them here to protect readers’ eyes, but it looks like someoneused a budget cell phone camera and then resized the images in MS Paint.
