Convertibles
A-dub’s Drivers Log segment reveals that Porsches make people want to tell stories— the first editor waxes nostalgicabout 1993, when the Boxster concept car first appeared, and how to him it resembled James Dean’s “Little Bastard” 550Spyder. The second describes how he was driving with his attractive young niece and a cop pulled up along side him andtold him to slow down even though he wasn’t exceeding the speed limit. It’s just that kind of car. The Special Editionhas a few cosmetic advantages over the regular vanilla S, and by all accounts it’s the best Boxster yet, although ifyou’re going to save up the $62,000 required to attain one, you could well save up $10K more and get yourself a 911.But then again, that car has a roof.
