After retooling the entry-level Volvo S40 into a very hip sedan, Volvo has regressed with the new looks of thelarger S60 and its wagon v70. The styling is flat and the word that keeps coming to mind is bland, bland, bland.Automobile Magazine calls the mid-design refreshening “muscular” but to me it’s just safe. Although Volvo likes to bethought of as safe. Hopefully when there is a total redesign the same minds behind the s40 will be involved. I’ll beover in the corner taking a nap until that happens.
